A Delta IV Heavy rocket will try again Saturday afternoon to launch a classified spy satellite from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, hoping for clearer skies.

Liftoff of the National Reconnaissance Office mission on the most powerful U.S. rocket available is targeted for 1:51 p.m., at the opening of a roughly four-hour window whose exact duration will not be disclosed.

There’s a 60 percent chance of favorable weather, with cumulus clouds and lightning again potential concerns.

But the odds are an improvement over Thursday’s, when dark clouds, showers and a lightning threat at one point offered no better than a 10 percent chance of a liftoff.

Unable to fly when the window opened at 1:59 p.m., the launch team held out until the last possible minute.
